PetersburgIL.com is the first web site to be focused on the historical town of Petersburg, which is the county seat of Menard County, Illinois. The PetersburgIL.com web site began publication in 1997 under the management and editorial direction of Founding Editor David Crosnoe. When the site was redesigned in August of 2009, the decision was made to cease publication of several sections contained in the old site. Much of the content from these sections is contained in this archive for your reference. However, these old sections are no longer being updated or otherwise maintained.
